Omar Rekik has joined Swiss side Servette on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 22-year-old defender has recently returned from his short-term loan deal with League One side, Wigan Athletic. This was Omar’s second loan spell with Wigan, having spent the second half of last season with them. A consistent member of their first team, the centre-back made a total of 25 appearances in all competitions during his time with the Latics.
Tunisian international Omar also spent some time in his country of birth with a short-term loan spell in the Netherlands with Sparta Rotterdam at the beginning of the 2022/2023 campaign.
