Giving us the lead in the Europa League’s Round of 16, Odegaard slammed the ball into the roof of the net from distance for his first Gunners goal.
v Burnley
September 18, 2021
The goal that separated the sides at Turf Moor, Odegaard’s sumptuous free-kick secured a 1-0 victory in the Premier League.
v Brighton & Hove Albion
April 9, 2022
Unfortunately this one proved to be just a consolation in a 2-1 defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League, but it’s another typically accurate Odegaard strike.
v Everton
May 22, 2022
Wrapping up our 2021/22 Premier League campaign with a 5-1 win at home to Everton, Odegaard showed excellent dribbling ability to create the space for a lovely slotted finish.

Showing great technique to bounce the ball past Robert Sanchez, Odegaard contributed to the 4-2 win against Brighton & Hove Albion on New Year’s Eve that sent us into 2023 on a high.

There’s no better way to write yourself into Gunners folklore than to score in a north London derby. Odegaard had already done that once with his first Premier League goal at Emirates Stadium, but this was even better, beating Hugo Lloris to secure a 2-0 win away from home.

April 21, 2023
Part of a late comeback in a 3-3 draw against Southampton, Odegaard picked out the bottom left corner to make it 3-2 to the Saints, before Bukayo Saka scored our equalising goal late on.
v Chelsea
May 2, 2023
Neatly cushioned in off the crossbar, Odegaard scored the opening goal of our 3-1 win at home to Chelsea towards the end of the 2022/23 Premier League season.
v Manchester United
September 3, 2023
Another trademark Odegaard finish - this time scoring the equaliser against Manchester United - instantly replying to going a goal down one minute earlier. We went on to win the game 3-1 thanks to late goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus.
v PSV Eindhoven
September 20, 2023
Odegaard’s most recent goal also makes it into the top 10 list. The damage had already been done for PSV Eindhoven following first half goals from Saka, Leandro Trossard and Jesus, but Odegaard put the result beyond doubt by lacing the ball into the bottom right corner to mark our UEFA Champions League return with a 4-0 win at home.
