Arsene Wenger is confident his team will deliver a strong response to their FA Cup exit when they face Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
The Gunners face the runaway leaders of the Bundesliga in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie just three days after their defeat to Blackburn Rovers.
Wenger insists his side are now fully focused on beating Bayern - but says they must be prepared to be patient if they are to progress.
“The game of the week is now the Champions League - you cannot compare the FA Cup to the Champions League,” the manager said.
“We focus on that - it is the best way. Everyone would like to be in our position - in England only two teams have qualified for the Champions League [last 16]. I don't know why we should not cope with that.
“What is important is that we focus on the quality of our game. It is played over 180 minutes, I have enough experience to know that. The first 90 are on Tuesday night and we have to put in our head that we have 180 minutes to qualify and not rush our game.
“We must play at our best and with belief. I believe in our quality. The fact is that in the last 11 games in the Premier League we have lost two, so we are on a good run overall.”
