Arsene Wenger says Manchester City are the "obvious favourites" to win the FA Cup final.
The Arsenal manager will be a keen observer of Saturday's Wembley showpiece - not least because his team face Wigan Athletic in the Premier League next Tuesday - but he would rather the final kicked off at the more traditional time of 3pm.
"It's a surprise [that it is scheduled for 5.15pm], and it's happened to us before, playing the FA Cup final before the end of the league season [in 2002]," said Wenger. "I always felt it was better to play it after the championship ends.
"I will watch it of course because we play Wigan on Tuesday night. Manchester City have been just doing the job in their recent league games, so can they raise their game for this final? Of course they will, certainly.
"So it makes it simple: there is one obvious favourite - Manchester City, and one challenger, with outstanding qualities too - Wigan. We will see what happens, a final is a final. But you could say Manchester City are favourites for this one."
