Thomas Vermaelen says Arsenal must keep a close eye on the dangerous Ricky van Wolfswinkel when Norwich visit Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The Holland international - nicknamed ‘the Wolf’ - has made a positive start to life in the Premier League and is expected to lead the line for the visitors.
Former Ajax defender Vermaelen knows all about the striker’s qualities and says keeping him quiet will be vital for Arsene Wenger’s side.

“Norwich have some good players, including Ricky Van Wolfswinkel, who I know very well from my time in Holland,” he told the official matchday programme.
“I played against him when he first came through into the first team at Vitesse and he then went to Utrecht and abroad to Portugal and [always] scored a lot of goals.
“He is a clinical goalscorer, he makes good runs and is someone that we will definitely need to watch closely.”
