Mathieu Flamini returned to the side after missing the midweek Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund on precautionary measures due to the head injury he suffered against Norwich City.
Elsewhere, Santi Cazorla also came into the team with Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere dropping to the bench.
