Wojciech Szczesny says Arsenal showed a lot of "mental strength" to keep a clean sheet against Manchester United on Wednesday.
After the 5-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday, the Gunners produced a solid defensive display against the Champions to leave themselves one point behind leaders Chelsea.
The Polish keeper was pleased with the way the team responded but feels three points were there for the taking.

"There was a lot of mental strength from us," Szczesny said. "I thought we tried our best and we defended really well for 90 minutes.
"It was similar to a lot of games we've played at home recently where teams have defended well against us. Today we didn't take our chances which was disappointing but we came up against a very good side. We're happy about keeping a clean sheet
"We'll fight right until the end and that's the least you can expect of players from Arsenal Football Club."
