One month to dedicated charity matchday

Arsenal Football Club will dedicate its Premier League fixture against Everton on Sunday, December 8, to The Arsenal Foundation, which supports projects that transform the lives of young people in the UK and overseas.

The annual fundraiser will once again see Arsène Wenger and the Arsenal first-team squad donating a day’s wages to the cause and encouraging supporters to get involved and join in a range of fundraising activities.

"It’s a big tradition for us and we hope the supporters join in and give what they can too"

Arsene Wenger

Earlier this week, the manager and players learnt more about the Foundation’s work and how their donations and time have made a significant difference to the lives of thousands of young people at home and abroad.

Since The Arsenal Foundation was launched in 2012, more than £1 million has been committed to fund projects reaching nearly 100,000 young people in the UK and overseas.

Speaking about the forthcoming matchday, Wenger said: “We are always very proud to support The Arsenal Foundation with this matchday and support more young people to fulfill their potential and achieve great things in their lives. It’s a big tradition for us and we hope the supporters join in and give what they can too.”

More details on how everybody can get involved in the matchday will be announced during the countdown to this special event.
