A supporter from Chelmsford has become the face of Arsenal Football Club’s membership scheme for the 2013/14 season and features in all of the Club’s posters and videos to help make supporters aware of the scheme.
Aredhel has supported the Club since 1991 and in that time has seen the side win domestic doubles, go a whole season unbeaten, and move from its iconic former Highbury stadium home to the state-of-the-art Emirates Stadium.
Aredhel said of her affiliation to the Gunners: “Arsenal gives you that sense of belonging, there’s nowhere else I can come where there will be 60,000 people all cheering for the same thing all as one. The Club is genuinely a part of me; it’s like another member of the family.”
For the 2013/14 season and beyond, new membership tiers have been introduced to make membership as flexible and personal as possible for all supporters.
Digital membership is free of charge, and allows supporters to access Arsenal Player for free and receive e-newsletters packed full of Club news and exclusives.
Adult and junior fans can also sign up to Lite membership, which provides all the benefits of access to tickets and events without receiving a membership pack, therefore lowering the price of the membership.
The Club has 200,000 members around the world who all receive exclusive benefits including access to events with manager Arsène Wenger and the first-team squad in attendance. Full members receive a welcome pack which includes an embroidered Arsenal members scarf, the Club’s official handbook and The Arsenal Foundation Collection book packed with incredible stories and images from Arsenal first-team players. Even the staunchest Arsenal fan will discover something new.
Full members will receive a selection of pin badges of Arsenal’s club crest throughout its history and an exclusive Stadium Tour discount. Full and Lite members receive guaranteed priority access to 3,500 tickets for every Premier League match at Emirates Stadium, with an additional 23,000 last season available on Ticket Exchange, a service where Gold level members unable to attend matches can sell their tickets to fellow members.
