Ladies to host free football festival

Arsenal Ladies in the Community

Arsenal Ladies host Chelsea at Meadow Park on Thursday, June 6, kick-off 7.45pm, in their first home game since winning the FA Women’s Cup for a 12th time at the end of May.

In addition to the football – which will be broadcast live on ESPN – the Ladies are encouraging supporters to get to the ground early and take part in a free interactive fanzone.

Youngsters aged between five and 16 will be welcomed to Meadow Park from 5.45pm to take part in a host of activities including batak boards, a speed cage and a target shoot inflatable. As well as that, the FA WSL, Cyprus Cup and The FA Girls’ Youth Cup trophies will be on display.

There will be hair braiding and face painting too, and members of Arsenal Ladies’ Under-17 National Cup winning team will be on hand to greet supporters as they arrive.

Those who register for the fanzone will get the chance to watch the match for FREE.

Otherwise, tickets for the game can be purchased on the gate priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions, with a family ticket - for two adults and two children - costing £10.
