Eighty Junior Gunners camped out at Arsenal’s London Colney training ground on Friday night.
The lucky youngsters – who won the chance to attend through an exclusive JG competition – had a fun-packed afternoon and night.
First up was a football session with Arsenal in the Community coaches on the Gunners’ pristine training pitches.
Then there was the chance to take a tour of the state-of-the-art facility. The JGs got to see the players’ changing rooms, the gym and the rehab room, which houses a swimming pool with an adjustable floor!
There were football quizzes, with plenty of great prizes up for grabs - and the chance to hang out with Gunnersaurus too.
The boys and girls – all aged between seven and 12 – topped off their day with dinner in the players’ restaurant, before heading for bed in a special JG gazebo out in the grounds.
Sue Campbell, Head of Events and Supporter Liaison, said: "The Camping on the Pitch events have been brilliant fun since they began three years ago. This was the first year we held the event at the training ground and it was a great opportunity to give fans the chance to get a behind-the-scenes peak at where the players prepare for games. This event is just one of the exclusive benefits members can enjoy throughout the season, and we're proud to be able to provide a truly unique experience for them all."
Our Club photographer was at the event and took some great pictures which can be seen below.
