Arsenal Football Club celebrated the 100th anniversary of its move to Islington at the Premier League fixture against Stoke City on September 22.
As part of the celebrations around the match, the Arsenal first-team squad wore special shirts with a line of commemorative text embroidered onto the front of the shirt.
Supporters now have the opportunity to bid for these truly unique shirts in a special silent auction, with all proceeds being donated to The Arsenal Foundation, to support local community projects and good causes in the Borough of Islington.
Arsenal.com is delighted to kick off the auction with the match-worn shirts of Olivier Giroud, Jack Wilshere and home debutant Mesut Ozil. The three shirts will also be signed by the individual players.
To stand a chance of winning, simply e-mail 100years@arsenal.co.uk with your name, contact details and the name of the player's shirt you wish to bid for in the subject line, eg 'Ozil shirt', along with the amount you wish to bid.
This is a 'silent' auction so you have to make your best bid and hope that nobody else has made a higher bid.
The individual that makes the highest single bid will receive the shirt. The highest bidder will then be contacted and asked for payment details and will be sent the shirt once payment has cleared.
All bids should be made by October 24, 2013.
The Club will soon be offering all of the other unique shirts in auctions via eBay.com and other Club channels.
Further information on where these shirts will appear, will feature on Arsenal.com soon.
