It was goalless at the break against Southampton, but by the final whistle we had secured another win and were heading home with a crucial three points.
It would have been easy to become fretful as we approached the hour mark with the scores still level, but Shkodran Mustafi believes the patience we displayed ultimately paid dividends.

“It was an important game and it was a tough game as well,” he said. “We knew that coming here is not easy, they're a good team, a team that likes to play.
“We did well being patient in the first half. We had opportunities, they had one or two as well, so it was an open game but then in the second half we managed to come out and just keep playing, waiting and being patient until the opportunity came.
“We had a few opportunities and luckily we scored two. Now we have three games and we have to give everything to try and get everything out of all of them.
“Hopefully at the end we’ll reach our goals.”
