Takuma Asano scored and claimed an assist as Stuttgart won 3-1 against Nuremberg. Asano set up Simon Terodde’s opener, before the German added a second goal in the 33rd minute. Kevin Moehwald pulled one back for the visitors, before Asano’s late strike.
Jon Toral scored the game’s only goal as Granada won 1-0 at home to Osasuna. Toral’s 52nd-minute strike was enough to secure progression to the next round of the Copa del Rey.
Joel Campbell played the full 90 minutes as Sporting Lisbon beat Arouca 1-0, courtesy of Alan Ruiz’s goal.
Kelechi Nwakali played 66 minutes before being substituted in a 0-0 draw with Emmen.
