Jack Wilshere played the full 90 minutes as Bournemouth won 1-0 at Stoke City. Nathan Ake scored the game’s only goal, but Wilshere hit the woodwork for the Cherries.

Calum Chambers played the entirety of Middlesbrough’s 1-0 loss to Chelsea at the Riverside Stadium. Diego Costa’s goal was enough to seal the win.

Wojciech Szczesny played the full 90 minutes as Roma lost 2-1 away to Atalanta. Diego Perotti put the visitors ahead, before goals from Mattia Caldara and Franck Kessie turned the game on its head.

Ryan Huddart made a number of important saves as Eastleigh drew 2-2 away at Gateshead. Scott Wilson and Mikael Mandron gave the Spitfires a 2-0 lead, before Gateshead hauled themselves level courtesy of strikes from Sam Jones and Danny Johnson.

Kelechi Nwakali played the entirety of Maastricht’s 3-2 away win over Fortuna Sittard. Thomas Verheijdt opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before goals from Roald van Hout and Jorrit Smeets gave the hosts the lead. Verheijdt then struck again, with Pieter Nys scoring the winner. 

Stefan O’Connor came on as a substitute in added time of the same game.

Takuma Asano was a 71st-minute substitute as Stuttgart drew 1-1 at Union Berlin. Simon Terodde put the visitors in front after just three minutes, before Steven Skrzybski’s equaliser.

Jon Toral was an 87th-minute substitute in Granada’s 1-1 draw with Valencia. Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez put Granada into the lead, before Nani levelled the scores.
