Upper Holloway Bridge replacement works

Holloway Road

Please be aware that from Friday, October 21 until Monday, January 16, Holloway Road will experience various road closures due to bridge replacement works, near to Upper Holloway train station.

Please see details of the closures below:

Friday, October 21 (22:00) - Monday, October 31 (05:00)

  • Full closure of Holloway Road near to Upper Holloway train station.

Monday, October 31 (05:00) - Saturday, December 24 (22:00)

  • Southbound closure of Holloway Road near to Upper Holloway train station.

Friday, November 18 (22:00) - Monday, November 21 (05:00)

  • Full closure of Holloway Road near to Upper Holloway train station.

Friday, November 25 (22:00) - Monday, November 28 (05:00)

  • Full closure of Holloway Road near to Upper Holloway train station.

Saturday, December 24 - Monday, January 16

  • Full closure of Holloway Road near to Upper Holloway train station.

Local diversions will be in place, but drivers are advised to avoid the area on the dates above.

The replacement works will affect fans who usually travel through this area for the following fixtures:

  • Arsenal v Middlesbrough
  • Arsenal v Reading
  • Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur
  • Arsenal v PSG
  • Arsenal v AFC Bournemouth
  • Possible League Cup fifth Round
  • Arsenal v Stoke City
  • Arsenal v West Bromwich Albion
  • Arsenal v Crystal Palace

Bus routes 17, 43, 263, 271 and N41 will be on diversion. Routes 4, 134, 390 and N20 will experience severe delays.

As a reminder, Upper Holloway Road train station will be closed until February 2017. The works will not have an impact on any of the train services at Archway, Highbury & Islington, Holloway Road or Finsbury Park.
