Pedro Martinez Losa has had Kim Little on his radar for a long time – and he is delighted to have finally brought her back to the club.
The former Gunner will join up with her Arsenal team-mates in January, with her signing bringing an end to a process that has lasted for quite some time.
"I think it’s a massive step for us," Losa told Arsenal.com. "She is one of the players that we spoke a lot about how much she knew the values of Arsenal. Players like Jordan Nobbs, players like Kelly Smith, players like Kim.
"For me, Kim is one of the top players in the world if not the best - she has been well-recognised internationally."

Losa recalls a meeting with Little while at his former club, with her performances never leaving him in any doubt that she would reach the very top.
"When we came to Arsenal with Rayo Vallecano we played against her, it was the first year that she joined and everybody was talking about her. So I suffered against her as a manager!" Losa said.
"Then when she went to America and I was 100 per cent sure that she was going to be one of the top players.
"We never had access to sign her [at Rayo], so when I came back here, Little has been objective number one every year."
