Jack Wilshere played 76 minutes as Bournemouth picked up their second win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Everton. Junior Stanislas scored the game’s only goal.

Calum Chambers started for Middlesbrough for the first time, playing 90 minutes as the Teesiders lost 2-1 at home to Tottenham. Heung-Min Son’s double carried Spurs to victory, with Ben Gibson scoring for the hosts.

Wojciech Szczesny played the full match as Roma lost 3-1 at Torino. Andrea Belotti opened the scoring before Iago Falque doubled the home side’s advantage. Francesco Totti halved the defecit, but Falque provided a third goal to seal the win.

Takuma Asano played for 74 minutes in Stuttgart’s 1-1 draw away at VfL Bochum. Captain Christian Gentner fired the visitors in front, before Johannes Wurtz levelled the scores.

Kelechi Nwakali appeared for the final 13 minutes of Maastricht’s 2-1 loss to Almere City. Sven Braken scored both goals for Almere, with Dyon Gijzen on the scoresheet for Maastricht.
