Julio Pleguezuelo marked his debut for RCD Mallorca with a clean sheet. The defender played just over an hour of the Spanish side’s 1-0 win against Reus Deportiu in the Copa Del Rey.
It was a difficult game for the youngster, as Mallorca were taken to extra time by their Segunda Division opponents. Brandon scored the deciding goal in the 93rd minute to secure Fernando Vázquez’s side place in the next round.
Pleguezuelo will spend the 2016/17 season on loan at Mallorca, which is also the club of his birthplace.
