Hector Bellerin was an unused substitute in Spain’s 2-0 defeat against Italy at Euro 2016. Giorgio Chiellini opened the scoring just past the half-hour mark when he scrambled home a loose ball in the box. Spain continued to chase an equaliser, and came close with late chances for Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique, but Graziano Pelle struck in added time to knock Vicente del Bosque’s side out of the tournament.
