Young forward Katie McCabe has agreed to join Arsenal Ladies from Shelbourne FC in Dublin.
The promising 20-year-old already has six senior caps for the Republic of Ireland, having made her debut against Hungary in March this year. She was a key member of the Republic of Ireland's Under-19s that reached the semi-finals of the European under-19 Championship in 2014.
Katie will become the latest in a long line of talented players from the Republic of Ireland to play for Arsenal Ladies, following in the footsteps of Emma Byrne, Ciara Grant and Yvonne Tracy.
Arsenal manager Pedro Martinez Losa said: “We are delighted to welcome Katie to the club. She is a fantastic young talent, who is full of potential, and I look forward to her continued progress with us in the season ahead.”
The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
