Marta Corredera believes Arsenal Ladies' Continental Cup triumph is just the start for Pedro Martinez Losa's new-look side.
The Spain international marked her first season in north London with silverware by helping the Gunners beat Notts County 3-0 at New York Stadium on Sunday.
"This trophy is an important start for all of us"
Corredera says it is a "dream" to win the competition and the midfielder is confident that Arsenal can build on the trophy next season.
“It is amazing,” she told Arsenal.com. “My first year here and I’m very excited with this final. It is a dream to win this final with this amazing team.
“They gave me the opportunity to stay in England and play here for a great club. I’m so proud and so excited, I want to be here. I think Arsenal is a big club.
“I want to be a big player with Arsenal and I want to put Arsenal at the top level and I think Arsenal can be an amazing team. That is why I will stay here. This trophy is an important start for all of us.
