Jordan Nobbs believes that Natalia could be the decisive factor in Sunday's Continental Cup final against Notts County.
The Spaniard has been in fine form this year, finishing as Arsenal Ladies' top scorer in the Women’s Super League with 10 goals.
"I think that was big to have players from outside of England come over and strengthen our squad"
Nobbs says it is up to the rest of the team to provide opportunities for Natalia at AESSEAL New York Stadium, and then let the forward do the rest.
“She has been crucial for us,” she told Arsenal.com. “I think she pulls goals out of the bag at the moment. When she is in form you can’t really stop her so she is one of those strikers that if she is in the right place, she will score all the time.
“She will be massive for us at the weekend, especially if she gets us a first goal. She has to let everyone else do the work, be confident and let us play our football.
“When Pedro came over, one thing he did do was bring players over from Spain which increased and developed our squad with a lot of experience. I think that was big to have players from outside of England come over and strengthen our squad.”
Leah Williamson’s versatility has also impressed Nobbs and she believes that the versatile England Under-19 international is not short of confidence after being named Young Player of the Year last season.
“She is one of those who can play in any position on the pitch and I think if anyone wanted a player like that you would want someone like her,” she said.
“There are not many players in the league who can go from midfield, to centre back to left back to right back and I’m even sure she has played as centre forward for us in the past.
“She has developed as a player a lot and winning Young Player of the Year has given her a lot of confidence to show what she can do for the club.”
