Alexis and Arsene Wenger have been nominated for the Ballon d’Or and Manager of the Year award respectively.
Alexis scored 25 times in his debut season in all competitions and has started this campaign in similar vein, with 10 goals in his last six appearances for club and country.
The 26-year-old also helped Chile win the Copa America in 2015 for the first time in their history, scoring the decisive penalty in the final.
Wenger guided Arsenal to a second consecutive FA Cup win this year and secured a third-place finish in the Premier League.
The boss faces stiff competition from the likes of Pep Guardiola, Luis Enrique and Massimiliano Allegri.
