Supporters due to attend Arsenal’s match away to Watford on Saturday are advised that construction work at Vicarage Road may impact on their journey to the ground. Watford have provided the following information to assist supporters attending the match:
There are currently temporary turnstiles in operation and this may well cause delays on entering the stadium as a result.
Turnstiles open 90-minutes before kick-off and we would advise that you arrive no later than 45-minutes before kick-off to avoid any delays.
Before you arrive
Please ensure you check the latest travel information before travelling to the game.
Supporter Meeting Point
The officially designated ‘away’ pub is The Oddfellows, 14 Fearnley Street, WD18 0RD.
Visiting Disabled Supporter Access
Disabled fans should aim for the Red Lion Corner (a disused pub opposite the away turnstiles) on the junction of Vicarage Road itself and Oxford Street. They should then make themselves known to Watfords ‘Vicarage Roadies’ match day meet and greet team, who are dressed in bright green jackets and will be stationed outside the pub from 3.30pm onwards on the day. The ‘Roadies’ team, who will be looking out for disabled visitors, will then escort them to the accessible entrance and then on to the away seats. Please allow plenty of time before kick-off as entry is through another stand and may take some time.
Away Section Concourse
There will be no alcohol for sale in the concourse on match day.
