Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says he is highly motivated to make a bigger impact in the Champions League.
The England international scored eight minutes into his debut in the competition four years ago against Olympiacos.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has fond memories of that goal, but says he wanted to achieve even more by now.
“I can only remember the goal and feeling quite tired in the first half,” he said. “I think it was the first time I got a bit of a shock about the step up I had made at that time.
“To score a goal after eight minutes was a little bit generous and I found it quite difficult for the rest of that half.
“It seems like a lot has happened in between that but at the same time I would have wanted more to have happened in that time. It gives me motivation and hunger to do more and still be involved year after year in this competition.”
