Boss - Spurs draw is very interesting

Arsène Wenger is looking forward to the “interesting" Capital One Cup third-round tie at Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal travel to White Hart Lane for the first north London derby of the season on September 23, and the manager insists his team are determined to progress.

“It’s an interesting draw and we have had some fierce competition with Tottenham over the years, even in the League Cup,” he said.

“It will be interesting but for us it’s an opportunity to go through and we will take the competition seriously.”
