Loan Watch: Two Gunners start

Every season a number of Arsenal players go out on loan to gain valuable first-team experience. This season nine Gunners are currently away from the club.

Chuba Akpom played 72 minutes, while Isaac Hayden was a 78th-minute substitute in Hull City’s 2-1 win against Fulham. Ahmed Elmohamady opened the scoring before Tom Cairney equalised for the hosts, who won the game when Sone Aluko struck late on.

Emiliano Martinez started in goal for Wolves as former Gunner Benik Afobe opened the scoring for the hosts. Kevin McDonald added to their lead before Charlie Austin pulled one back for QPR. Matt Phillips then grabbed a second-half brace as QPR ran out victors.
