Arsenal and PUMA launched the new 2015/16 home and away kits in Mumbai on Tuesday with the help of club legends Sol Campbell and Ray Parlour.
In addition to unveiling the new kits, the event also held the first ever public screening of the ‘Invincibles’ documentary in Asia.
More than 2,000 supporters attended the event and, once the kit had been revealed, welcomed Campbell and Parlour to the stage for an exclusive question and answer session.
The fans then enjoyed the screening of the ‘Invincibles’ documentary - the inside story of the historic unbeaten 2003/04 Premier League title-winning campaign.
Speaking from Mumbai, Campbell said: “Arsenal has always had a global following and that is evident from the incredible reception we have received from the fans in India. Being a part of the 2015/16 PUMA Arsenal kit launch has been a wonderful experience.”
Parlour added: “The Invincibles team symbolise the rich legacy of the club and it was a great to share our experiences from that season with the fans at the screening of the documentary in Mumbai. Arsenal is a club loved by football fans around the world and it was great to see this first hand with the supporters in India.”
In addition to the kit launch, Campbell and Parlour also visited an India on Track Arsenal Soccer School in Mumbai to help coach some young aspiring footballers.
The new 2015/16 home and away kits are available to purchase online at www.ArsenalDirect.com and in all Arsenal stores.
