The players were given the morning off from training, after enjoying a team dinner the previous night, so the first events on Friday were all fan-based.
Mathieu Flamini, Wojciech Szczesny, Dan Crowley, Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Emi Martinez, Calum Chambers and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain entertained more than 600 Arsenal-mad locals at a Fan Party held in the team hotel.
The players split into two teams to take part in games and quizzes, and the rivalry between the two sides reached a crescendo when Wojciech took exception to Calum's less than flattering description of him during a game of 'Who Am I?' The goalie sought retribution on his young teammate though, by soaking him with water.
Across town eight more players - Per Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny, Mathieu Debuchy, Santi Cazorla, Petr Cech, Chuba Akpom and Kieran Gibbs gave local kids a day to remember as they coached them in an Emirates Soccer Clinic. The heat and humidity was intense, but any ideas the players may have had about coasting through the session were put to bed when one youngster nutmegged Per.
On one of the other pitches, Chuba showed his appetite for goals extends beyond competitive matches, as he celebrated his strike with no little enthusiasm. Chuba wasn't the only player to hit the target - check out this video of a young participant scoring this screamer!
Meanwhile Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin dropped into a PUMA store in town where they met 100 lucky fans for a signing session. The local supporters taught the Spanish pair some 'Singlish' (Singaporean English) and talked about Singaporean culture.
When the fun and games were over, it was back to the football.
Arsène Wenger and Aaron Ramsey gave a pre-match press conference ahead of
Saturday's final against Everton, then it was back to action in the early evening as the players once again headed out to training. The afternoon's heat had given way to storms, forcing a brief delay, but the players were soon back into their stride, stepping up the tempo for the final training session of the trip.
