Hector Bellerin believes Arsenal’s all-round attacking quality is the reason for the team reaching 100 goals this season.
The Gunners brought up the milestone when Alexis Sanchez rounded Steve Harper to score his second goal and Arsenal’s third during a convincing first-half display against Hull City on Monday night.
Bellerin hailed the team's creativity but also praised their resolute defending after a dominant display at KC Stadium.
"We just need to keep pushing forward and the team can’t be champions, but now we have to push for second place"
“[Reaching 100 goals] shows the team has the capacity to score goals,” the 20-year-old said. “We’ve got creativity, we’ve got quality up front but the team also defend really well as well.
“The defence start the attack from the goalkeeper to the striker. The team-mates are really creative, really good going forward and when we get in front of the goal and have chances, we showed that we can finish them as well. We are very dangerous.
“Finishing strongly was our goal since the beginning of the season. We just need to keep pushing forward and the team can’t be champions, but now we have to push for second place. We need to get as many points as we can.
“We knew it was going to be a tough game but the team responded and we showed that we’re not going to drop off.”
