Per Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski have been nominated for the German Football Ambassador award.
Supported by the German government, the award seeks to recognise German footballers playing abroad who have been ‘ambassadors’ for their country.
The award takes into account players’ contributions both on and off the pitch.
Voting is open to the public HERE until May 10. The winner will be announced on June 2.
