Laurent Koscielny has underlined the importance of getting the details right in the very biggest games.
Arsenal face Monaco on Tuesday night in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash, but face an uphill battle to progress.
Koscielny says it is vital to stay calm in such situations, but insists the team must get everything right on the night if they are to stand a chance.
"When you play against a big team the little details are the most important thing - they can make all the difference"
“The most important thing is to be ready, focused and prepare well mentally to have a big fight against a big team,” he told Arsenal Player.
“When you play against a big team the little details are the most important thing - they can make all the difference.
“It is not me that is important - it is the [whole] team. We need to win, it is not just one player who can score, it is the entire team [if we have] a positive attitude.
“I am a defender and we sometimes have corners and free kicks where we try to help our team to score. These situations are very important now in modern football, it can be a key moment in the game.
“It is very important to be focused and we know that they can change a game.”
