Nottingham Forest 1-3 Brentford
Jon Toral started and scored in Brentford’s 3-1 win at Nottingham Forest. The midfielder slotted home in the 17th minute before Andre Gray and Alex Pritchard extended the visitors' lead. Toral was replaced in the 59th minute after sustained a cut head and Michail Antonio pulled one back for Forest but Brentford held out to claim a second win in four days.

Leeds United 2-2 Charlton Athletic
Francis Coquelin made his debut for Charlton Athletic on Tuesday, coming off the bench in their 2-2 draw at Leeds. Alex Mowatt scored for Leeds either side of Johann Gudmundsson’s strike, before the Iceland midfielder equalised for a second time from the penalty spot to share the points.
