The Arsenal charity team took on Stacey’s Spurs All Stars on Sunday, July 27 in a match to raise funds for young Tottenham fan Stacey Mowle.
Eight-year-old Stacey is fighting Neuroblastoma cancer, and in need of pioneering treatment in the United States. The Stacey Mowle Appeal hopes to raise £500,000 for her care.
Played at Dartford FC, the match saw former Gunners Lee Harper, David Hillier and Brian Sparrow feature alongside celebrities Tommy Walsh, Ralf Little and others.
Arsenal ran out 11-3 winners, with much-needed funds raised for Stacey’s appeal. Stacey took to the pitch to score a penalty against the Gunners.
