David Moyes is tough, professional and gets the best out of players, according to Mikel Arteta.
The Arsenal midfielder spent six-and-a-half years working with Moyes at Everton and he expects the Scot to be a success when he succeeds Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United this summer.
"He is hard, he is a very professional guy," Arteta told Arsenal Player.
"He's very determined in everything he does and he demands a lot of sacrifice from the players. If you give that to him, you'll be rewarded and he's very good in that sense as well.
"Sometimes when I was there [at Everton], we had 13, 14 or 15 professional players and it's not easy to manage a small squad like that. He needed to get the best out of everyone and he's done it year after year."
Arteta also thinks there are similarities between Moyes and his current manager, Arsene Wenger.
"A common theme is they are both winners and they both get really upset when we don't win," he said. "But their characters are very different."
