Vivianne Miedema is flying right now.
Our forward has scored 69 goals in just 65 starts since joining us from Bayern in 2017, and is currently the leading Women's Champions League scorer with 10 strikes in Europe.
So just how big a role could she play against Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-final?
"I think there's three or four others in this squad that are big-game players, big-moment players," Joe Montemurro said. "Viv has been exposed to European Championship final, World Cup final.
"They’re familiar with these big-game knockout sort of scenarios. The good thing about Viv is that this period that we haven't been playing has been really, really good for her. She’s been able to freshen up and so many other players have too because of the rigours of European Championship in the off break, the WSL and then World Cup qualifiers and so on.
"She's been able to get a fresh mind, sort of reboot and reset and I can also say that for about seven or eight of the other players who've been involved with tournaments through that. We’ve really taken this point as an important part of freshening the players up mentally also."
