Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored as Roma won 3-1 at Hellas Verona on Sunday. Justin Kluivert gave the visitors the lead, only for Davide Faraoni to equalise just four minutes later. Diego Perotti's penalty then put Roma back in front. Mkhitaryan came on in the 67th minute, replacing Cengiz Under, before scoring Roma's third goal in the second minute of added time.
Mohamed Elneny played the full 90 minutes as Besiktas won 2-1 against Slovan Bratislava on Thursday. Erik Daniel gave the Slovakian side the lead, before second-half goals from Enzo Roco and Adem Ljajic turned the game for Besiktas.
Eddie Nketiah returned from injury, playing the final 11 minutes of Leeds United's 4-0 home win over Middlesbrough on Saturday. Patrick Bamford opened the scoring after just three minutes, before a Mateus Klich brace and a strike from Helder Costa completed the scoring. Nketiah then replaced Bamford in the 79th minute.
Ben Sheaf played the entirety of Doncaster's 3-0 loss at Gillingham. Mark Byrne gave the Gills the lead, before goals from Olly Lee and Brandon Hanlan made sure of the win.
Deyan Iliev played the full 90 minutes as Sered lost 2-0 at home to Zemplin Michalovce. Modibo Sidibe and Armen Hovhannisyan scored the goals.
William Saliba missed Saint Etienne's 2-1 defeat at Rennes due to injury.
Jordi Osei-Tutu was an unused substitute as Bochum won 2-0 against Erzgebirge Aue.
