Miguel Azeez has joined Spanish side Atletico Baleares in a permanent transfer.
The 21-year-old joined our academy in May 2011 and signed his first professional contract with us in September 2019.
Miguel, seen as a maestro in midfield throughout youth football progressed and graduated from Hale End; he went on to make his first team debut for us at the age of 18-years-old, when he came on in our 4-2 win away to Dundalk in the UEFA Europa League group stage back in December 2020.
The same season, Miguel made 23 appearances in all competitions across our academy.
The following two campaigns saw Miguel spend some valuable time away on loan. The England youth international played for Portsmouth, before short-term loans at both UD Ibiza & Wigan Athletic last season.
We thank Miguel for his contribution to the club and wish him all the best with Atletico Baleares.
The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
