Loan Watch: Martinez in action for Getafe

Eight of our players were in action for their loan clubs this past weekend - read on to find out just who was involved.

Emi Martinez played the full 90 minutes as Getafe lost 3-1 at Real Madrid. Gareth Bale opened the scoring for the hosts, before Cristiano Ronaldo doubled their lead before the break. Portillo pulled one back from the penalty spot, but Ronaldo struck again for Madrid.



Carl Jenkinson played the entirety of Birmingham City’s 1-0 home loss to Middlesbrough. Patrick Bamford scored the game’s only goal. Cohen Bramall was an unused substitute.



Jeff Reine-Adelaide played 62 minutes of Angers’ 3-0 win over Guingamp. Flavien Tait put Angers in front inside 60 seconds, before Karl Toko Ekambi doubled the advantage. Reine-Adelaide then made way for former Gunner Gilles Sunu. Ismael Traore struck late on to complete the scoring.



Lucas played the full 90 minutes as Deportivo La Coruna drew 1-1 at home to Eibar. Takashi Inui gave the visitors the lead, before Florin Andone’s leveller.



Chuba Akpom played 80 minutes of Sint-Truiden’s 0-0 draw at Charleroi.



Julio Pleguezuelo played 85 minutes of Gimnastic’s 2-1 home defeat by Tenerife. Tete Morente put Gimnastic in front, but a Juan Villar brace won the game for the visitors.



Tafari Moore played the entirety of Wycombe Wanderers’ 1-0 home loss to Coventry City. Marc McNulty scored the game’s only goal from the penalty spot.



Kelechi Nwakali played the full 90 minutes as Maastricht lost 3-0 at Fortuna Sittard. Goals from Djibril Dianessy, Lisandro Semedo and Stefan Askovski secured the points.



Joel Campbell, Takuma Asano, Marc Bola and Krystian Bielik did not feature for their loan sides. Stephy Mavididi remains injured.
