Sambi Lokonga made his debut for Luton Town over the weekend as the Hatters were beaten 1-0 by Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Playing in a double pivot alongside Marvelous Nakamba, Lokonga helped limit the home side to few clear-cut chances, but ultimately it wasn't to be a dream debut for the Belgian international as Carlos Vinicius' goal ensured Luton remained bottom of the Premier League, still looking for their first point in the top-flight.

Marquinhos played 58 minutes and helped Nantes to their first win of the season in Ligue 1 as they beat Clermont Foot 1-0 away from home on Sunday. Nantes are now 15th in the division.

At the Santiago Bernabeu, Kieran Tierney played 69 minutes of Real Sociedad’s 2-1 defeat to La Liga leaders Real Madrid on Sunday. Sociedad are 11th in Spain’s top tier with six points from five games.
In the Sky Bet Championship, Charlie Patino played 82 minutes of Swansea City’s 2-0 defeat to Cardiff City in Saturday’s south Wales derby. It was a result that leaves te Swans 22nd in the table with two points, still awaiting their first win of the season. Alex Runarsson was an unused substitute for Cardiff.
Elsewhere in the division, Millwall were beaten 3-0 at home by Leeds United when Brooke Norton-Cuffy played the full 90 minutes for the Lions, who are 18th in the Championship.
In Sky Bet League One, Omar Rekik played 78 minutes of Wigan Athletic’s 2-1 win at home to Cambridge United on Saturday. The Latics have four wins in the league but are 20th with only five points, due to a minus four points deduction before the season began.
Three places below them are Cheltenham Town, who lost 1-0 at league leaders Exeter City on Saturday. Nathan Butler-Oyedeji came on in the 78th minute as the Robins continue to search for their first win of the season.
Billy Vigar featured in Eastbourne Borough’s 1-0 defeat at home to Worthing in the second qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday.
In the FA WPL Premier Division South, Ruby Doe scored her first goal for Ipswich Town in Sunday’s 5-0 win at home to London Bees, having hit the crossbar earlier in the game.
Ipswich are second in the league, three points behind Hashtag United, who have five wins from five.

In the Women’s Championship, Araya Dennis came on at half-time for Crystal Palace during Sunday’s 1-1 draw away to Sunderland. The two sides are now level on points in the Championship, Palace ahead in third on goal difference following their previous 9-1 win against Durham.
Watford are down in eighth following their 1-0 loss at home to Blackburn Rovers on Sunday, which Gunners loanees Katie Reid and Laila Harbert both played 90 minutes of, while Freya Godfrey came on in the 75th minute for Charlton Athletic as they beat Birmingham City 1-0 to go sixth in the Championship with their first win of the season on Sunday.
