Leicester WSL match to be held at Emirates Stadium

We are excited to announce that we will host an extra Women’s Super League match at Emirates Stadium this season.

Our penultimate home game of the season against Leicester City, currently scheduled to take place on April 21*, will become the sixth league match to be played in N5 this season.

It comes on the back of two WSL attendance records set at Emirates in 2023, most recently a 59,042 crowd for our 4-1 win against Chelsea in December.

The game against the Foxes will join Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur as our remaining WSL matches to be played at Emirates this season, which take place on Saturday, February 17 [tickets] and Sunday, March 3* [tickets] respectively.

Our Chief Executive, Vinai Venkatesham, said “We’ve been thrilled by the consistent support for our women’s team this season. That includes record attendances, as well as regular sell-outs at Meadow Park and for all our away allocations.

“We’re delighted to bring our supporters another match at Emirates to build on that, and give as many of them as possible the opportunity to get behind the team in what will be a crucial period of our season."

Supporters will be able to purchase early bird tickets for the Leicester match from Tuesday, January 30 at 2pm (UK).

The match remains part of the women’s season ticket, and season ticket holders will be allocated the same seat(s) they have been using for all other games at Emirates Stadium for the 2023/24 season.

This game will not be part of the Emirates Home Advantage Pack, however supporters who have purchased a Home Advantage Pack for the 2023/24 season will have the opportunity to purchase their usual seat(s) in a priority window that will open on Thursday, January 25 at 2pm (UK) and close on Monday, January 29 at 2pm (UK).
