Visit Rwanda welcomed Arsenal Legend Lauren to the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
While at the stadium Lauren joined in a coaching session put on by Visit Rwanda which had more than 50 participants. The session was a huge success with Lauren not only assisting with the drills, but also offering the young Rwandans advice on what it takes to become a professional footballer.
The visit to the national stadium was also a great opportunity for us to get closer to our Rwandan fans. In particular, the Rwandan Arsenal Supporters Club, who watched the coaching session and had the chance to meet Lauren at the end.
As a club we are committed to helping the development of football in Rwanda. During the three-year deal, we will be delivering Arsenal run annual coaching clinics for children, coaches and women in Rwanda. We will also be inviting promising Rwandan footballers to the UK to offer them the ultimate Arsenal experience during the partnership.
