Lacazette - We won well... all was perfect

Alexandre Lacazette's brace against West Brom saw him become our first player to score in his first three home league games for us since Brian Marwood in 1988.

But the France international insists that personal achievements are secondary to securing positive results with the team.

After the match he spoke to the media, and this is what he said:

on making history with his goalscoring…

They said I did, but I am not looking for this particular type of record but more stability with the team. We won and we won with a clean sheet. All was perfect, possession, goals.

on the team’s recovery in recent weeks…

During the month of September we have reconstructed ourselves defensively, we are working together.

on the squad pulling together…

There was no feeling of panic in the team - we knew that working together would pay off.
