Today we stand with Rwanda to mark the 30th commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
Jurrien Timber recently visited the Genocide memorial in Rwanda and learned about its history.
“On Kwibuka 30, my message to the young players is to continue to work hard, stay together and to have courage to chase your dreams,” he said.
“I found it very educational but at the same time very sad to realise that only happened 30 years ago,” said Caitlin Foord.
“It touched myself and the girls’ hearts to see where the country had been in the past to where it is now,” added Katie McCabe.
