Khayon Edwards has joined League One side Leyton Orient on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 20-year-old forward initially joined our pre-academy aged five. Khayon went on to sign his first professional contract with us in May 2022.
The 2021/22 campaign was Khayon’s most prolific to date, as he scored 16 goals in 16 appearances in the U18 Premier League, claiming five assists along the way.
The following season saw the centre-forward’s performances rewarded with a place in our first team matchday squad, when he was named as a substitute on two separate occasions in the UEFA Europa League group stage, away to Bodo/Glimt and home to PSV Eindhoven back in October 2022.
Khayon joins Leyton Orient in fine form, as he has scored nine goals in 14 appearances this season already.
