Gabriel Jesus has been nominated for the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week and Player of the Week awards.
Jesus contributed brilliantly to the opening goal of the game in our 2-1 win away to Sevilla on Tuesday night, smartly turning and putting Brazilian teammate Gabriel Martinelli through on goal.
In the 53rd minute, he audaciously curled the ball into the top right corner from a narrow angle to increase our lead.
The other nominees for Goal of the Week are Meschack Elia for Young Boys v Manchester City, Xavi Simons for RB Leipzig v Crevena Zvezda, and Kyogo Furuhashi for Celtic v Atletico de Madrid.
