Two members of our first team squad were involved in World Cup qualifying matches on Monday night.
Mesut Ozil's Germany hosted Norway in Stuttgart, while Danny Welbeck and England welcomed Slovakia to Wembley Stadium.
Scroll down to find out how they performed:
Ozil opened the scoring in the 10th minute, by bagging his 22nd goal for Die Mannschaft. Seven minutes later, Ozil assisted Julian Draxler to double the home side’s lead.
RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner netted a brace before the half-time interval, with substitutes Leon Goretzka and Mario Gomez rounding off the scoring at 6-0 in the second half.
The victory means that the world champions are just one victory away from qualification to the 2018 World Cup in Russia, as they lead Group C with 24 points.
Welbeck featured in the final six minutes for Gareth Southgate's Three Lions, as they saw off Slovakia 2-1.
Stanislav Lobotka opened the scoring in the third minute to give the visitors a shock lead, but goals from Eric Dier and Marcus Rashford won the game for the hosts.
