Internationals: Euro 2020 and Olympics call-ups

The European Championship and Olympic Games are fast approaching - and we'll have plenty of Arsenal representation on show.

Scroll down for an update on our international call-ups ahead of this summer's major tournaments.

Kieran Tierney has been included in Scotland's final squad for the European Championship. Our No 3's last international appearance was a World Cup qualifier against the Faroe Islands back in March, when he claimed three assists in a 4-0 win at Hampden Park.

Scotland's first Group D game is against Czech Republic in Glasgow on Monday, June 14, before they face England on Friday, June 18 in London. They end the group stage against Croatia on home soil on Tuesday, June 22.

Bernd Leno has been named in Joachim Low's final Germany squad. Our stopper features alongside Manuel Neuer and Kevin Trapp as one of three goalkeepers in his country's 26-man group, and has been handed the No 12 shirt for the tournament.

Germany's first Group F tie is against world champions France on Tuesday, June 15. Die Mannschaft then host Portugal on Saturday, June 19, before ending the group stage against Hungary on Wednesday, June 23. All three of Germany's group games will be played at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Bukayo Saka has been included in England's 26-man squad for this summer's tournament. Our Hale End graduate was last named in Gareth Southgate's squad for March's internationals against San Marino, Albania and Poland but withdrew through injury.

The Three Lions kick-off their competition against Croatia on Sunday, June 13. A clash with Scotland follows on Friday, June 18 before their final group-stage game against Czech Republic on Tuesday, June 22. All of England's Group D games will be played at Wembley.

Granit Xhaka has been named in Switzerland's 26-man squad. With more than 90 caps to his name, our midfielder was given the armband permanently back in September 2020 and is expected to lead Vladimir Petkovic's side out in their opening game against Wales in Baku on Saturday, June 12.

Switzerland then face Italy in Rome on Wednesday, June 16 before their final Group A game against Turkey in Baku on Sunday, June 20.

Meanwhile, Gabriel and Gabriel Martinelli have been named in Brazil's squad for their friendlies ahead of this summer's Olympic Games in Japan. Our duo have two caps apiece for the Selecao's under-23s, with both of Martinelli's appearances coming at the United International Football Festival back in November 2019.

Brazil will face Cape Verde and Serbia in their pre-tournament friendlies on Saturday, June 5 and Tuesday, June 8 respectively. Should they be named in the final squad, our duo will face off against Germany, Ivory Coast and Saudi Arabia in Group D when the tournament starts in July.
