Our supporters have voted Kai Havertz as our men's Player of the Month recipient for April.
The German striker polled 43 per cent of the ballot to edge out teammates Martin Odegaard, Leandro Trossard and Ben White to collect his second club accolade of the season, following on from his success in November.
As he has been since the turn of the year, Kai was in the thick of the goals for us during last month, scoring four times and also laying on three assists in six Premier League matches.
He managed to find the back of the net against Brighton & Hove Albion before haunting his former club Chelsea with a brace, and then netted what proved to be the winner at Tottenham Hotspur.
As well as that, he set up Martin Odegaard for the opener against Luton Town, and played the pass that set Leandro Trossard away to score against the Seagulls. His excellent 40-yard delivery was also vital in Bukayo Saka’s goal against Spurs that helped seal a second consecutive success at the home of our rivals for the first time since 1988.
Kai moves level with Bukayo Saka by receiving multiple Player of the Month awards this season, with Odegaard, White, Declan Rice, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel all also scooping the monthly gong in 2023/24.
